Changes are occurring on the internet – namely there is a shift away from Affiliate marketing programs as a form of advertising on the Internet.

Although this has many ramifications the most important changes with regards to affiliate programs, we believe, will be the Search Engines identifying between affiliate links and direct links. Although far more complex - this basically means that sites that have affiliate links will be regarded by the search engines as unimportant and therefore difficult to obtain any popularity via search - which is a major area of website traffic.
Affiliate links up to this point in time were used as a way of advertising where the advertisers only paid for the business received from the sites that had the links.
Up to this point we have used this method very successfully but we are striving to keep up with these changes - changes we personally believe are better for the quality of the Internet.
